Pierre Bottineau French Immersion is a tuition-free public elementary school located within the beautiful Jordan Park School in North Minneapolis. At Pierre Bottineau French Immersion, we believe that every student deserves and benefits from an exciting, balanced, and rigorous curriculum and that immersion education is a force for equitable learning opportunities and achievement for all.
During the 2012-2013 school year, we have full-immersion kindergarten, full-immersion first and French-enriched second/third grade classes. We will add one grade each year until we are a K-5 school during the 2014-2015 school year.
Language Immersion Education in Minnesota is a 15-minute video on the role language immersion programs can play in addressing Minnesota’s achievement gap and preparing its children to compete in the global economy. The video unites the voices of researchers and community leaders with those of immersion practitioners and their students.
